A Universal Prayer for Peace

To the Source of All Life and Light, Creator of the entire universe,
we ask You to grant peace amongst all nations,
regardless of our different cultures, races and beliefs.
Please guide the leaders of all nations in the Light, so they will follow a pathway leading to the peaceful resolutions of the many issues facing humanity today.
Please guide them to follow policies that lead to the preservation, sanctity and respect for all human life, of all different races, cultures and beliefs.
No matter what we have done wrong in our past we now repent and ask You, the Source of All Life for forgiveness and to accept our promise to respect the sanctity of all human life, of all different races, cultures and beliefs.
 We will now follow in the Light, a pathway of peace, harmony and unconditional love for all humanity so we may return to You, the Source of All Life when we leave our earthly body.
So Be It.



A Universal Prayer for Peace            
                                                 
An explanation of the words I have used and what their meaning is meant to be.

To the Source of All Life and Light,
Most of the world’s people believe that there is only one Source and that each culture or creed may use different names but there is only one Source of All Life and we should all be able to say these words to include all religions, all race, all cultures and beliefs.

Creator of the entire universe
Here we acknowledge that the One Source made all of creation. There are no competing Gods, we all come from the One Source and everything in the universe comes from that same Source

we ask You to grant peace amongst all nations,
We ask our Creator for help to have peace amongst us all.

regardless of our different cultures, races and beliefs.
Not just some countries but all countries and nations with their different races, cultures and beliefs.

Please guide the leaders of all nations in the Light,
Every country and nation has its leaders and here we ask that all, not only democracies but all systems of all governments.

so they will follow a pathway leading to the peaceful resolutions of the many issues facing humanity today.
Not only peace amongst countries but looking after our environment and all matters that they deal with.

Please guide them to follow policies that lead to the preservation, sanctity and respect for all human life, of all different races, cultures and beliefs.
Human life needs to be protected at all levels. Issues facing them need guidance to see they always hold the sanctity of life. Humans need to be protected against themselves

No matter what we have done wrong in our past we now repent and ask You the Source of All Life for forgiveness and to accept our promise to respect the sanctity of all human life, of all different races, cultures and beliefs.
We accept that we have erred in the past but we now acknowledge the need for us to change. We cannot ask our Creator to fix all the problems of the world if we do not do our part. We must promise to carry out our words in deeds not just thoughts without any commitment to them.

We will now follow in the Light, a pathway of peace, harmony and unconditional love for all humanity so we may return to You, the Source of All Life when we leave our earthly body.
We promise to follow a peaceful pathway in lives with our families, friends, everyone we meet and all our work situations. True peace must begin with attitudes, our behavior and ourselves.

So Be It.
And we mean it.
